Emergency First Aid Training for Carers

This training course provides carers with emergency first aid skills which allows them to provide prompt and effective first aid to their clients. They will be given the confidence to give immediate assistance or treatment to anybody who is injured or suffering a sudden illness, prior to the arrival of a qualified person, a doctor or the ambulance.

Course content

• risk assessment
• resuscitation
• management of an unconcious patient
• recognition and treatment of bleeding, burns, shock, choking, heart attack, strokes and epilepsy
